At Testogram, we respect your right to control your personal data. You may request permanent deletion of your account at any time. This page explains the process, what data is affected, and your options.
Send an email to privacy@testogram.com from your registered email address with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". Include your registered name and phone number for verification. We will process your request within 48 hours.
After you submit a deletion request, your account enters a 7-day grace period. During this time:
After the 7-day grace period expires, the deletion process is irreversible.
If you change your mind during the grace period:
Your account will be reactivated immediately, and all your data, subscriptions, and wallet balances will be restored.
After the grace period ends, here is how each category of your data is handled:

| Profile & preferences | Deleted | Exam preferences, onboarding data, and notification settings are erased. |
| Login credentials | Deleted | Password hash and session tokens are permanently removed. |
| Device tokens (FCM) | Deleted | Push notification tokens are removed. You will no longer receive notifications. |
| Quiz performance | Anonymised | Quiz scores and answers are retained but disassociated from your identity. Used for aggregate content quality analysis. |
| Analytics & insights | Anonymised | Performance analytics are retained in anonymised form for platform improvement. |
| Leaderboard entries | Deleted | Your entries are removed from all leaderboards. |
| Badges & achievements | Deleted | All badge awards and KP balances are removed. |
| Streaks | Deleted | Streak history and freeze records are removed. |
| Referral data | Anonymised | Referral tracking records are anonymised. Existing referral rewards already credited to other users are not affected. |
| Subscriptions | Deleted | Active subscriptions are cancelled. No refund is issued for remaining subscription period upon voluntary deletion. |
| Wallet (DC & RC) | Deleted | All Digital Coins and Referral Cash balances are permanently forfeited. |
| Payment records | Retained | Transaction records are retained for 7 years as required by Indian tax law, with personal details anonymised. |
